Scope

This standard specifies the term definitions, technical requirements, quality assessment procedures, measurement and test methods for multi-core optical fiber (cable) sector branch connectors; it also specifies inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements. This standard applies to single- and multi-mode bundled multi-core optical fiber (cable) sector branch connectors and single- and multi-mode ribbon multi-core optical fiber (cable) sector branch connectors.
