Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for lightning protection of communication power equipment. This standard applies to AC power distribution equipment for communications bureaus (stations), oil engine control systems, AC uninterruptible power supply equipment for communications, semiconductor rectifier equipment for communications, and high-frequency switching rectifier equipment for communications. Communication power equipment integrated in the system can be implemented with reference to this.
