Scope: This standard specifies the safety technical conditions for hand-held or automatic electrostatic spray guns and their auxiliary devices used in electrostatic painting areas and electrostatic dusting areas. This standard applies to the design, manufacture, test, inspection, use and maintenance of various hand-held or automatic electrostatic spray guns and their auxiliary devices. This standard does not apply to intrinsically safe electrostatic spray guns.
