Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of metal ions in polyvinyl chloride resin using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer (ICP). This standard applies to vinyl chloride homopolymer and copolymer resins. Materials with polyvinyl chloride resin as the main component may be adopted as a reference.
