Scope

This standard specifies antimony (Sb), arsenic (As), lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), copper (Cu), chromium (Cr), chromium (hexavalent, Cr (VI)) in textiles ), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni) and other 10 extractable heavy metals, total cadmium in coated textiles and plastic accessories of textile products, and limit requirements, test methods and inspection rules for nickel release from metal accessories of textile products. This standard is applicable to the inspection of 10 extractable heavy metals in textiles, total cadmium in coated textiles and plastic accessories of textile products, and nickel release in metal accessories of textile products.
