Scope

This standard specifies the objects, testing procedures and result reports for multiplex PCR testing of Vibrio cholerae at exit ports. This standard applies to the detection of cholera enterotoxin genes of Vibrio cholerae strains. The detection and screening of O1 group and O139 group Vibrio cholerae in the direct target book or its enrichment solution can also be used as a reference (participation) to prompt further strain isolation.
