This guiding technical document covers the design and structure, selection of components and parts, selection of materials, surface quality of electronic equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) operating on manned aircraft, helicopters, missiles, boosters and similar aircraft. General guidance is provided on handling, environmental applications and quality assurance. Detailed electrical and mechanical design, performance and testing requirements shall be as specified in the equipment detailed specification or contract. This guiding technical document applies to all stages of the development and production of the above equipment.
