Scope

This specification specifies the requirements, quality assurance provisions, and delivery readiness for aircraft down-view displays. This specification applies to the design, manufacture, inspection, appraisal and delivery of downward-looking displays (hereinafter referred to as displays) used in military aircraft cockpits. Displays used in military helicopter cockpits can also be used as a reference.
