- Scope
- This standard specifies the general technical requirements for the safe storage of explosives, periodic retesting of the chemical stability and physical and chemical properties of explosives, inspection procedures, evaluation criteria, and end-of-life standards for safe storage of explosives. This standard is applicable to the safety monitoring of bulk explosives (excluding compound explosives) produced according to the established process for long-term storage in the warehouse. It can also be used as a reference for the monitoring of changes in the physical and chemical properties and chemical stability of explosives loaded in stored ammunition. This standard does not apply to the storage safety monitoring of liquid explosives.
