Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of nitrite and nitrate in grains, vegetables, fruits and other plant products using ion chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of nitrite and nitrate in grains, vegetables, fruits and other plant products. The linear range of this method: nitrite is 0.05 mg/L ~ 20 mg/L (based on NO), and nitrate is 0.05 mg/L ~ 50 mg/L (based on NO). The detection limit of this method is: nitrite is 0.1 mg/kg (calculated as NaNO) and nitrate is 0.2 mg/kg (calculated as NaNO).
