Scope
This standard specifies the basic principles and specific procedures for evaluating risks. The purpose of this standard is to provide methods for making decisions about lift safety in the following tasks: - design, manufacture and installation of lifts, lift components and systems; - formulation of use, operation, testing, compliance verification of lifts And the general procedures for maintenance, repair and transformation; ——Developing codes and standards related to elevator safety. Although the examples in this standard focus on the risk of personal injury, the risk assessment procedures specified in this standard can be equally effective for evaluating other types of risks related to elevators, such as the evaluation of the risk of property and environmental damage.
