- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of stainless steel softening drums. This standard applies to stainless steel round hammering drums and stainless steel octagonal hammering drums (hereinafter referred to as "softening drums") for leather production.
