- This standard specifies carbon steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as pipes) used for pressure piping used at temperatures below approximately 350°C. However, carbon steel pipes for high pressure piping are in accordance with JIS G 3455. The size range to which this standard applies is normally from 10,5 mm to 660,4 mm outside diameter.
