Scope: This standard specifies the emission limits and measurement methods of exhaust pollutants of two-wheeled or three-wheeled mopeds, the emission requirements of crankcase pollutants, and the durability requirements of pollution control devices. This standard specifies the requirements for the type approval of two-wheeled and three-wheeled mopeds at stage III, production consistency inspection and judgment methods. This standard is applicable to two- or three-wheeled mopeds equipped with spark-ignition engines whose curb weight is not greater than 400kg, engine displacement is not greater than 5Oml, and the maximum design speed is not greater than 50km/h.
