Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for dynamic simulation tests of corrosion and scale inhibition properties of water treatment chemicals used in boilers that are coal-fired, oil-fired, gas-fired, and electric-heated at normal or low pressure. This standard applies to water treatment chemicals added to the boiler water of steam boilers and steam-water boilers with a rated pressure less than or equal to 2.5MPa using water as the medium, as well as fixed pressure hot water boilers and atmospheric pressure hot water boilers using water as the medium. The scale inhibition performance, the liquid phase corrosion inhibition performance in the furnace, the vapor phase corrosion inhibition performance in the furnace and the pipe corrosion inhibition performance of steam condensate water were measured. The measurement of scale and corrosion inhibition performance of water treatment equipment outside the furnace and physical methods of boiler water processors can also be used as a reference.
