Scope
This standard specifies two statistical values characterizing a given error probability for the evaluation of detection capabilities in ionizing radiation measurements using high-resolution gamma spectroscopy without taking into account the effects of sample processing. This section is applicable to the determination of detection limits and judgment thresholds when using high-resolution gamma energy spectroscopy for counting measurements.
