This standard specifies the tear strength test for vulcanized rubber and plastic; or for rubber and rubber, rubber (or plastic) covered fabric and rubber (or plastic) and rubber (or plastic) covered fabric and fabric After the adhesive strength test, there are 5 methods for calculating its tear strength and adhesive strength. For the force-time curve obtained in the test, calculate the median value of the peak value and the extreme distance value, which is the test result. There may be many or few peaks on the adhesive strength and tear strength curves (depending on the material tested), and the calculation method needs to be selected according to the number of peaks. The purpose of this standard is to obtain consistency in the evaluation and description of a test result, which is only useful when other standards specify a test method or specification for a certain performance. For other matters about the test, such as test equipment, sample preparation, sample state adjustment, test procedures, etc., please refer to the relevant national standards.
