Scope

This International Standard specifies a qualitative, rapid comparative visual test method for evaluating the degree of macroscopic dispersion of carbon black and carbon black/silica in rubber. Grading is based on a set of standard pictures divided into 1-10 levels, and the results are expressed in numbers. In addition, this standard also specifies a numerical scale (1 to 10) to describe the method of large lumps.
