This standard is applicable to the determination of chloride in surface water, groundwater and the determination of chloride in other types of wastewater samples that can eliminate interference after pretreatment. The applicable concentration range of this method is 2.5~500mg/L. Representative water samples from rivers, lakes and reservoirs have been selected to test the applicability of this method to surface water. The statistics of the measurement results of 13 samples show that when the chloride ion concentration range is 2 to 290 mg/L, the relative standard deviation is 0.03 to 3.37%, and the recovery rate of standard addition is 86 to 102.33%.
