This standard specifies the determination of aluminum in drinking water and its source water by Mingtianqing S spectrophotometry. This method is applicable to the determination of aluminum in drinking water and water source water. The minimum detection mass of this method is 0.20μg, if a 25mL water sample is taken, the minimum detection mass concentration is 0.008mg/L. Copper, hammer and iron in water interfere with the determination. 1mL ascorbic acid (100g/L) can eliminate the interference of 25μg copper and 30μg manganese. 2mL of thioglycolic acid (10g/L) can eliminate the interference of 25μg of iron.
