Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation method for the biodegradability of water treatment agents. This standard applies to water treatment agents (organic substances) that are easily soluble or slightly soluble in water under the experimental conditions, are non-volatile and have no inhibitory effect on the test microorganisms under the experimental conditions.
