Scope

This standard specifies the technical characteristics of leaf chains for general lifting, the shape of sheaves and connecting rings. Topics include dimensions, interchangeability limits, chain length measurements, pretension and minimum tensile strength. The provisions in this standard do not apply to the combination of 8×8 boards.
