- This standard specifies the terms, definitions, symbols, tolerances, markings and test methods for surface defects of optical parts. This standard is applicable to the transmissive and reflective surfaces with surface roughness RZ≤0.1 μm of optical parts processed by polishing, edging, injection molding, coating, etc., and optical parts processed by scoring, gluing, coating, etc. Transmissive and reflective surfaces can also be implemented by reference.
