Scope
This part specifies the method for the determination of chromium, lead, mercury, cadmium and bromine in electronic and electrical products by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). This section is applicable to the ICP-MS determination of Cr, Cd, Hg, Pb and Br in polymers (except fluoropolymers), metal alloy materials, paint coatings, glass ceramics, welding materials and electronic components in electronic and electrical products. The corresponding detection limits of Cr, Cd, Hg, Pb and Br are: 0.06, 0.07, 0.04, 0.01 and 6.0 ng/mL respectively.
