Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and methods for small wind turbines to be tested in low-speed wind tunnels. This standard is applicable to the wind tunnel test of small wind turbines with the swept area of the wind rotor less than 40². Other types of wind energy conversion devices and the evaluation of wind turbines can also be used as a reference.
