Scope: This regulation stipulates the construction requirements and quality standards for ethylene cracking furnaces and hydrogen conversion furnaces in petrochemical projects. This procedure is applicable to the construction of box-shaped tubular cracking furnaces for ethylene units (hereinafter referred to as cracking furnaces) and box-shaped tubular steam reformers for hydrogen production units (hereinafter referred to as reforming furnaces) in petrochemical engineering. The construction of box-shaped tube furnaces in other petrochemical plants can be carried out with reference to this procedure.
