Scope

This standard specifies the test principle, test collection and preparation, reagents, instruments, test procedures, calculation of test results and allowable differences for the determination of 1,8-naphthalic anhydride content. This standard is applicable to the determination of the content of 1,8-naphthalenedicarboxylic anhydride obtained by oxidation of industrial acenaphthylene separated from high-temperature coal tar.
