Scope: This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of recrystallized silicon carbide plates. This standard is applicable to recrystallized silicon carbide plates formed by slip molding with an operating temperature not exceeding 1600°C in an oxidizing atmosphere and not exceeding 1700°C in a reducing atmosphere.
