Scope

This standard specifies methods for measuring the tensile strength, tensile modulus, and elongation at maximum load of carbon fibers using resin-impregnated yarns. This test method can also be applied to carbon fibers (continuous fibers and staple fibers) as reinforcing fibers in composite materials.
