Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, determination process, category and warning label, configuration of category and label elements and precautionary statements for single exposure of specific target organ toxicity caused by chemicals. This standard is applicable to the specific target organ toxicity caused by chemicals for single exposure according to the hazard classification, precautionary labels and precautionary statements of the United Nations "Global Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals".
