This part of GB/T 6730 specifies the ferrous ammonium sulfate reduction-silicon molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method for the determination of silicon content in iron ore. This standard applies to natural iron ores, iron concentrates and agglomerates, including the determination of silicon content in sintered products. Measuring range (mass fraction): 0.10% to 5.00%.
