Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the hygroscopic elongation of paper and paperboard when the relative humidity is changed from an equilibrium state of (33 ± 2)% to an equilibrium state of 66 ± 2)%. This standard is applicable to almost all papers and paperboards, but not crepe paper and cardboard.
