- This standard specifies the services and functions, performance, environmental adaptability, life, battery, charger, standby time, talk time, card interface, electromagnetic compatibility, specific absorption rate (SAR) and Test methods for appearance, packaging and assembly. This standard is applicable to GSM/CDMA 1x dual-mode digital mobile stations that support SIM, UIM and SIM/UIM dual-mode cards. It is not applicable to GSM/CDMA 1x dual-mode digital mobile stations with integrated machine and card. A single card slot can be used as needed. Or multiple card slots. This standard applies to dual-mode single standby and dual-mode dual standby GSM/CDMA 1x dual-mode digital mobile stations.
