Scope

This standard specifies the use of sterile sterilizers for use in the administration of anesthetics or analgesics by insertion through the canal of a needle inserted into a scleral capsule, subarachnoid capsule, or sacral canal. Specifies epidural anesthesia catheters that can be used immediately and are disposable after one-time use.
