This standard is based on the preconditions of JIS Z 8462-2 that the calibration number (calibration curve) is a straight line and that there is a specific relationship between the value of the residual root standard deviation and the value of the net state variable. This section specifies the evaluation of the detection power of the measurement method when it is not assumed.
