- This standard specifies the chemical composition of concentrates and their purity, microbial contamination, handling, measurement and labeling of concentrates, container requirements and tests required for quality inspection of concentrates. This standard applies to dialysate concentrates for hemodialysis or hemodiafiltration. This standard does not apply to the mixing process of concentrate and dialysis water to achieve final use concentration during treatment. This standard does not apply to dialysate regeneration systems.
