Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, quality requirements and test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation of unprocessed fresh latex flowing from the Brazilian rubber tree. This standard is applicable to the processing of fresh latex from ammonia-preserved centrifuged or paste-concentrated natural rubber latex, and also to the processing of fresh latex from latex standard rubber.
