Scope

This standard specifies the content and method for the determination of copper, lead, iron, bismuth, antimony, phosphorus and arsenic in brass by X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. This standard is applicable to the determination of copper, lead, iron, bismuth, antimony, phosphorus and arsenic content in ordinary brass and ordinary brass with arsenic added. The measurement range is shown in Table 1.
