- This standard specifies the terminology, classification and grouping, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of explosion-proof overhead cranes. This standard applies to explosion-proof bridge cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes) working in Zones 1 and 2 of explosive gas environments or Zones 21 and 22 of combustible dust environments.
