Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of LR03 and LR1 alkaline zinc-manganese dry batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries). This standard applies to LR03 and LR1 batteries with a nominal voltage of 1.5V packaged in metal cases, paper cases or imitation metal films with printed logos.
