- This standard stipulates the classification of ship oil pollution accident levels and serves as the basis for the assessment of various transportation departments in managing and statistics of ship oil pollution accidents. This standard applies to oil pollution accidents in waters caused by oil tankers and non-oil tankers. However, it does not apply to oil pollution accidents caused by general casualties caused by various reasons.
