- This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, marking, packaging and transportation requirements for general-purpose marine three-phase asynchronous motors. This standard applies to general-purpose marine three-phase asynchronous motors. This standard does not apply to three-phase asynchronous motors for ship deck machinery. It is also not suitable for explosion-proof three-phase asynchronous motors.
