- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements for the manufacturing, inspection, acceptance, packaging, storage and transportation of vertical cylindrical steel mechanical mixing vessels (referred to as mixing vessels). This standard is applicable to nominal volume 0.04~100m^(3), design pressure -0.1~12MPa (gauge pressure), temperature -40-350℃, dynamic viscosity not greater than 500Pa.s, density not greater than 2000 kg/m^(3 ) liquid medium is used to carry out various physical and chemical processes. This standard does not apply to the following mixing vessels: a. Stirring vessel heated by direct flame; b. Stirring vessels subject to nuclear radiation; c. Stirring vessels requiring fatigue analysis; d. Mixing containers that are frequently moved; e. Glass lined mixing vessel.
