- This standard specifies the relevant requirements for process materials and atmosphere preparation, equipment and tooling, process systems, process control, quality control and inspection for controllable nitrogen-based protective atmosphere heat treatment. This standard is applicable to the controlled nitrogen-based atmosphere protective quenching heat treatment of aviation structural steel parts (including carburized parts after carburization), and other products can also be implemented with reference.
