Scope

This guiding technical document stipulates the design, manufacturing and technical requirements for compression and tension springs. This guiding technical document is applicable to cylindrical spiral compression springs made of round cross-section cold-drawn steel wire of Group IIa, 50CrVA, 65Si2MnWA, and cylindrical spiral tension springs made of Group IIa, 65Si2MnWA.
