Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of thermosetting plastic molded parts. This standard is applicable to parts made of thermosetting plastics by compression, transfer molding and injection molding. This standard is not applicable to parts formed by extrusion, blow molding, sintering and foaming.
