Scope
Purpose and composition of the submersible system The submersible system is used for the submarine to transfer from the surface state to the underwater state. This system should ensure that when the submarine dives, the overboard water fills each main ballast water tank within the specified time. The submersible system consists of the following parts: main ballast water tank (including fuel ballast water tank), auxiliary ballast water tank (including adjustment water tank and fast diving tank). Design requirements for auxiliary ballast water tanks (not included in this design rule), vent valves, emergency vent flap valves, sea valves or drain holes, as well as manual and mechanical transmission devices for these valves, necessary piping accessories and inspection measurements meter.
