Scope

This part of ISO 9455 specifies a qualitative methodforThe assessment of the tackiness of the residuesof a soft soldering flux after a soldering process.Themethod is applicable to all (tuxes, solder pastes andflux cored solder wires.The method is particularlyappropriate for applications where flux residues areleft in situ on electrical and electronic equipment.
