Scope

This European Standard specifies two methods forThe preparation of steel samples for oxygen determination.Both methods are suitable for preparing sample forThe determination of oxygen content,especially for oxygen contents ＜0.0050%.This standard is applicable to steels having a hardness of ＜400HBW 10/3000.
