Scope

1.1 These requirements cover noncombustible or combustible decorative mantles intended for use with specific gas, oil, or solid-fuel fired appliances. 1.2 Decorative mantles are intended for installation in accordance with the appliance manufacturers installation instructions. 1.3 These mantles do not employ any electrical components within the construction.
